Plan of AOC-Packaging for Agricultural Goods

The "Agricultural E-commerce Packaging and Brand Counseling Project AGRICULTURE CO-WORKER (abbreviated as ACO)," commissioned by the Ministry of Agriculture and executed by the Taiwan Design Research Institute, aims to assist Taiwanese farmers and agricultural businesses in enhancing their e-commerce sales capabilities and improving brand image and product packaging. The overarching goal is to promote the transformation and development of Taiwan's agriculture, enabling farmers to enter the market more effectively and establish connections with consumers.

Promoting agricultural e-commerce
With the advent of the digital age, farmers need to transform to reduce their dependence on middlemen and promote high-quality local ingredients in online markets. The project assists farmers in creating e-commerce visual content and copy, facilitating two-way communication with consumers, and increasing brand awareness.
- Encouraging young farmer participation
Each year, 10 farms with unique characteristics are selected to collaborate with design teams. This initiative aims to attract young people to return to rural areas and engage in farming, injecting new ideas and creativity to drive agricultural innovation. The project uncovers the farms' distinctive features and helps revamp their branding and packaging.
- Brand and design guidance
Professional brand consultancy services are provided to help small-scale farmers establish their brands, receive product specification recommendations, and optimize packaging design. This support helps farmers and agricultural businesses develop steadily, enhance market competitiveness, and ultimately increase their economic returns through improved marketing and brand image.

"百合專研” has launched the 'Hundred-Dyed Floral Delight Gift Box,' breaking the mold that confines growers to being mere suppliers of floral materials. They have transformed into a specialized lily brand that takes orders online. The packaging features an elegant visual design showcasing hand-dyed lilies, which have become their signature style.

"蜆澤" is an aquaculture processing brand established by Tongli Aquatic Products, Taiwan's largest black clam farm. The brand aims to challenge consumers' traditional perceptions of black clams. Drawing inspiration from the pink-hued seawater in their cultivation ponds, the design team incorporated this unique element into the packaging design, significantly enhancing the brand's visual identity.

The 'Harmony of All Things Gift Box' promotes Taiwan's unique local agricultural products while enhancing their market competitiveness through exquisite packaging design. This gift box brings together a diverse range of agricultural products, showcasing the variety and innovation of Taiwan's agriculture sector.

With the support of the ACO program, the 'Harmony of All Things Gift Box' is more than just a product; it's a means of promoting Taiwan's agricultural culture, aimed at introducing and endearing Taiwan's high-quality agricultural products to a wider audience.
