Tranditional(Dragon Boat) Festival Rigid Boxes.May 5th To Celebrate The Dragon Boat Festival

May 5th, the Dragon Boat Festival is here, and it's time for another round of passionate debates between the advocates of various types of zongzi from the North and South!

Since it's commonly known as the Zongzi Festival, let's explore the differences between the regional zongzi varieties aside from the well-known northern and southern ones, including the central zongzi !  (not to be confused with waterfront breakwaters)

Northern Zongzi
Cooked rice and ingredients mixed together and then steamed, resulting in distinct rice grains and a subtle fragrance from the cassia leaves. Some people say northern zongzi is like a wrapped version of sticky rice.

 Southern Zongzi
Raw rice with filling boiled together, creating a dense, chewy texture and a strong aroma from the bamboo leaves.

 Central Zongzi
Combines the techniques of both northern and southern zongzi. Soaked glutinous rice is drained and stir-fried with the filling, then steamed until tender, creating a perfect balance of texture and flavor. Top it off with Dongquan chili sauce for an authentic central zongzi experience.

There are many other amazing hidden varieties, such as Hakka zongzi, alkaline zongzi, etc. No matter the type, all zongzi are delicious, and we believe everyone can find their favorite.

Now that we've briefly introduced zongzi, it's essential to remember that apart from commemorating Qu Yuan and partaking in cultural activities like eating zongzi and dragon boat racing, the Dragon Boat Festival is also an excellent time for gift-giving. At this time, gift box packaging design becomes crucial, adding a personal touch to your zongzi gifts. We've compiled some outstanding Dragon Boat Festival packaging designs to showcase how design can make gift-giving more heartfelt and meaningful.
